“Our pets heads are falling off!” If you were a teenager in the 90’s, this movie quote will be in your lexicon. It’s a silly movie - Dumb and Dumber for those who aren’t familiar - but this particular phrase is one my family often utilizes in our home when difficult circumstances continue to pile up. While life is hard in the moment, it offers a bit of humor to what can very well be an incredibly challenging season. If you’re feeling a bit bogged down yourself lately with a constantly fluctuating reality, I hope these little sketchbook pages lighten your load a bit. It’s helpful to remember that “spring always springs”, that flowers will always bloom again, and that the sun is there just behind the clouds.
